Skype UWP has been development for windows 10 and windows 10 mobile from quite sometime now and even now it is not released to be public for testing. However, an XDA user has leaked its preview version to the pubic and anyone can now download Skype UWP for Windows 10 Mobile. Installation instructions for installing Skype UWP on windows 10 mobile are given below:
* Download the appX file from Mega
* Open the file using File Explorer (double tap)
* Say yes to the prompt to install
* It may take up to a minute or more to install, and there will be no install dialog/progress bars during the process; it all happens in the background
If you earlier had Windows Phone 8.1 version of Skype installed, this will replace it. Keep in mind that calling function is not working right now and you can easily uninstall it like any other windows phone app.
UWP means you will be having universal windows 10 and windows 10 mobile sharing resources and code. So same app for your laptop and mobile device.
