Pipo X7 Review, a TV Box with Windows 8

The Pipo X7 is a Windows TV box that can replace your desktop computer for preforming normal daily tasks thanks to the Intel Atom processor and the fact that it runs windows 8 operating system. The Pipo X7 costs under 150 dollars and offers Intel Atom Z3736F bay trail processor instead of typical ARM processor that allows it to run x86 windows which is more capable than Android.

The Pipo X7 measures 188.5 x 128.5 x 26 mm which makes it very compact. It looks and feel premium in hands thanks to its simplistic design. Entire shell is made of aluminum alloy which makes it look more expensive than it really is. Pipo X7 features four USB 2.0 ports, a micro SD card reader and an audio jack for headphones.

For connectivity you get Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a RJ-45 port on the back for wired networks. On the bottom there are four screws that once removed give you access to innards easily. Talking about innards, you get a quad-core Intel Atom Z3736F 2.16 GHz processor backed by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash storage out of which 12.3 gigabytes is available to the user for storing apps and data. The interface as expected by the quad core processor is smooth and fluid.
