Intel Stick that sticks behind your TV sticks are going to get more powerful when Intel releases Cedar City and Fall City 2 models. According to the leaked roadmap, the Cedar City model will be released in the fourth quarter of 2015 while the Falls City 2 Windows version and Falls City 2 Linux version will be launched in 2016.
Cedar City specifications
The Cedar City specifications include Intel Core M processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of SATA storage, USB 3.0 port, 802.11ac wireless LAN, 4k display support and MHL adapter. Cedar City is great for intensive applications and content creation. It can be used for larger devices and excellent multitasking. As said earlier, it has 4k display resolution support.
Fall City specifications
Intel Atom Bay Trail processor, 32GB eMMC, 2GB RAM, HDMI,USB 2, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Windows 8.1 with Bing. The Linux variant of Fall City will come with mere 1GB RAM and 8GB of eMMC storage. It will run Ubuntu 14.04 operating system. These TV sticks offer great graphics performance, quad core processor for fast speed and multi tasking, Wireless LAN BGN built in, micro SD card, USB 2.0 built in, McAfee anti virus built in.
Fall City 2 specifications
This comes with Intel Atom Broxton processor, 64GB of eMMC storage, 2GB RAM , HDMI, MHL, USB 3, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Windows 10 with Bing. The Linux variant will come with 8GB eMMC and 1GB RAM.
