HP has launched Pro 12 today that features HP Duet pen that makes use of ultrasound for enhanced stylus experience. The tablet is powered by Snapdragon 801 quad core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz that runs Android 4.4 kitkat like a charm.
The HP Slate Pro 12 has a display size of 12.3 inches packing 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution and anti fingerprint coating. Specifications include Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor that is based on ARM v7 architecture. There is 2GB RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage expandable with a micro SD card slot.
There are two cameras on the unit – one in the front (2 megapixel) and another one on the back that packs 8 mega pixels. The rear one has auto focus and supports HDR. Connectivity options include 802.11ac Wi-Fi that is Miracast compatible, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, NFC, GPS, 3G / 4G-LTE and all common sensors (accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, digital compass, ambient light sensor). There is also a micro USB 2.0, audio jack, a slot for nano SIM (which provides support for mobile networks) and two front stereo speakers with DTS Audio Sound+ technology. The battery of the HP Slate Pro 12 has capacity of 37-Wh.
