Lately Asus has been using the new Bay trail Atom processors in a lot of their tablets and their latest offering include ME176 and ME181. The modes that are in works include ASUS ME176C, ME176CX, ASUS ME181C and ME181CX.
Asus Me176 Specifications
It is a 7-inch tablet with IPS (1280 × 800 pixels) display, which certainly does not stand out for its technical characteristics. Under the shell, there is a Intel Atom Z3745 64bit chip that has quad cores and clock speed of 1.33GHz, Ivy Bridge graphics clocked at 133MHz (up to 778 MHz), supported by 1GB of RAM (but the CPU supports a maximum of 4GB ) and 8GB / 16GB of storage. The operating system is Android 4.4 KitKat but the Intel Atom processor should be able to support other operating systems, including Windows.
The Atom Z3745 is very similar to the outgoing Atom Z3740 which was used in the most popular tablet with Windows 8, the ASUS Transformer Book T100 and other somewhat popular tablet, Dell Venue Pro 8.
ASUS ME176 will be available in the yellow, black and white colors. Battery capacity is 3910mAh.
