HTC has begun rolling out a new firmware update for its flagship model, the One. The new software update brings optimized camera settings and functions that also improve system performance and stability.
This new firmware update for the HTC One also fixes the EXIF bug which displayed wrong ISO values in the EXIF data of the image file. This bug is now fixed with the new update and it now shows the current ISO value. A lot of other optimizations have also been introduced for the ultra pixel camera.
Other improvements include:
– Audio recording with HTC Zoe has also been improved.
– Improved noise reduction when shooting movies with slow motion
– Improved color rendering and better dynamic range under certain conditions (reducing overexposure to images without HDR).
The new firmware update is sent as an OTA (over the air) and can thus be downloaded directly to your phone. If you are an HTC One and have been received a notification about this update, you should go to Android settings > info / software update.
