Toshiba has churned out a series of new models of its gaming laptop, Qosmio X70. The laptop is now available in US as-well-as in Germany, and comes with Windows 8.1 pre loaded. There are three models – Qosmio X70-A-13E, Qosmio X70-A-12N and Qosmio X70-A-136th. Common specs include 17.3 inch display, 1920×1080 pixel resolution, Intel Core i7 4700MQ (haswell family), a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M GPU with 3GB GDDR5 RAM, Harman / Kardon stereo speakers, HDMI port and windows 8.1 operating system.
The cheapest model is Qosmio X70-A-13E that retails for 1399 Euros. At that price, you get the aforementioned configuration, plus, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 1.5-terabyte hard drive. Qosmio X70-A-12N, which retails for 1699 Euros comes with 16 gigabytes of DDR3 RAM, a 1.5-terabyte hard drive and a 256-gigabyte SSD. Top of the line model, Qosmio X70-A-136th that costs 1999 Euros comes with 32 gigabytes of DDR3 RAM, two 1.5-terabyte hard drives and a 256-gigabyte SSD as well.
The casing has not undergone any change. Toshiba has kept the brushed aluminum chassis, with red accents.
