Lenovo Yoga 920 specifications have been leaked and they feature the latest i7-8550U 8th generation Coffee lake Intel processor which will be even more efficient and powerful than the current 7th generation kabylake processor. Earlier this week, we spotted the Acer Swift 3 with 8th generation i5-8250U processor but this is the first time we are looking at an i7 8th gen-CPU.
While Intel has been mum about giving out a firm launch date for its 8th generation Coffeelake processor, it has not been able to keep OEM laptop manufactures from sending their details to ecommerce retailers. Most likely, these new chipsets will be released at the IFA trade show, slated to take place in Germany.
Being a ‘Yoga’, you will be able to use it as typical convertible laptop – just like the current Yoga 910 series.
The Lenovo Yoga 920 made its appearance at the official FCC’s website and some other details were revealed too – including rest of its specifications. This includes 13.9 inch display, fingerprint reader, JBL speakers, 2x USB type-C ports, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage. This top end model will come with 3840×2160 resolution but there will be entry level model too that will have 8GB RAM, 1920X1080 pixel resolution and 256GB SSD. Price should be almost same as the Lenovo Yoga 910 that retails for 1200 dollars.
