Lenovo ThinkPad P40 Yoga specs, convertible and powerful mobile workstation

Lenovo has launched its first workstation packing Intel Skylake processor and Nvidia Quadro M500M GPU. It will be on sale in early 2016 at a base price of $ 1,399.

Lenovo ThinkPad P40 Yoga specs include Intel Core i7 skylake processor with Nvidia M500M quadro graphics. The display will have support for the Wacom digitizer that is capable of recognizing up to 2,048 pressure levels when using the ThinkPad Pro Pen. Lenovo will offer more options for the screen: Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) or WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels), both feature IPS panels.

It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while connectivity uses three USB 3.0 ports, a mini Display Port, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet. And since it is a ThinkPad,it has a touchpad below the keyboard and a trackpoint in the middle of it. Even though it is a Yoga machine,it still looks and feels like a ThinkPad laptop. It weighs 1.76 kg and measuring 20 mm in thickness.

This "Yoga-style" Lenovo laptop has the performance of a workstation for digital artists and other professionals in the graphics. Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga P40 will be available in the first quarter of 2016 at a starting price of $ 1399.
