Lenovo has released quite a few mini laptops in the past but from past an year or so, it has been busy churning out big and powerful laptops. Now, the company has released Ideapad S210, a powerful mini computer that runs on Ivy Bridge / Sandy bridge architecture, which are light years more powerful than the Atom solutions like Cedar Trail netbooks (that were released in 2011).
The S210 mini laptop is powered by Core i5 processor (ivy bridge) but will be made available with Celeron CPU as well. It has a chiclet keyboard that is elegant to type on and has a spacious touchpad to do all sorts of fancy multi touch gestures.
The screen measures 11.6 inches diagonally and packs 1366×768 pixel resolution. Other specs include USB 2.0, 3.0 ports, SD card slot, audio jacks, HDMI port, up to 8GB RAM, up to 1TB HDD and a thickness of just 20.9mm.
