After launching Elitebook 800-series, HP has churned out ProBook 600-series, which includes ProBook 640 G1, 645 G1, 650 G1 and 655 G1. All come with Intel or AMD processors, and will have specs similar to the Elitebook 800. They share a very uniform design and look professional.
The 14 inch model measure 340 x 23.7 x 25.3 mm and weigh 2 kg, while the 15 inch model measure 378 x 257 x 25.3 mm , and weigh 2.32 Kg. Other specs include HD+ resolution (1600×900 pixels) or full HD resolution, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G / 4G LTE, USB 3.0 ports, VGA, DisplayPort 1.2, media card reader, HD audio with DTS sound studio, 2 integrated speakers, and spill resistant keyboard.
The HP Profbook 640 and 650 G1 come with Intel Core i3 4000M 2.4 GHz, Core i5- 4200M 2.5 GHz , 2.6 GHz i5- 4300m and i7- 4600M processor options. For storage, you get 320 GB or 500 GB 7200 RPM or if you fancy SSD media, you can go for the 128 gigabytes of solid state drive.
HP ProBook 645 G1 and 655 G1, on the other hand come with AMD APUs (accelerated processing units). You can go for AMD Elite A4 4300m 2.5 GHz , A6 4400M 2.7 GHz , A8 4500M 1.9 GHz or A10 5750M 2.5 GHz processor. In either laptops, you get 8 gigabytes of RAM as standard.
