Dell XPS 14, 15 specs

Dell has released XPS 14 and 15 notebooks with the starting price of 1100 and 1300 dollars respectively. Of course, if you customize it might end up costing you over 2000 dollars. Fortunately, there are myriad configuration options available. Dell claims you will be able to get almost all day extended battery life and for XPS 15, you will be able to enjoy uncompromising multimedia experience.

Design of both laptops is very appealing, thanks to the aluminum construction and edge-to-edge display. Both XPS 14 and 15 feature Intel core i5 and i7 processors with Nvidia optimus GPU, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 ports and 2x SATA drive bays.

The Xps 14 starts out with the Core i5 3317U processor and 500GB hard disk drive. Its display size is 14 inches, as expected which packs 1600 x 900 pixel resolution. Battery life is said to be around 11 hours on a single charge, thanks to its massive 8 cell battery.

You can also opt for the very powerful Nvidia 630M GPU with Nvidia Optimus technology. The XPS 15 features Core i5 3210m processor and Nvidia 630M GPU. Its screen size is 15 inches that packs full HD resolution (1920×1080).
