Dell XPS 13 9360 2017 version is here and it is looking better than ever. The new Dell ultrabook is powered by the Intel’s latest kabylake processor. Also introduced is the new rose gold color. Like before, the Dell XPS 13 9360’s main highlight is its amazing 13 inch screen that has been fitted into an 11” chassis. Here is its review video, courtesy of notebook italia.
Dell XPS 13 9360 specifications include Intel Core i7 7500u kabylake processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. You get a fantastic 4k ultra HD display and it will cost you 1649 euros in Europe. There will be a cheaper 1249 euro and top-of-range 2099 euro. 1249 euro model will come with i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD and FHD screen. The top end will come with i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, qHD+ screen. This is one of the few ultrabooks with 16GB RAM. There will be Dell XPS 13 9360 Developer Edition as well and that will run Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. It will be launched with similar SKUs costing 1249, 1529 and 1799 euros respectively.
Shown in the video above is the rose gold version which makes it a direct rival to the Apple Macbook which is also available in same color and has ultrabook-ish specifications. The chassis is made of carbon fiber and aluminum and is mere 9mm thin. Thanks to new Intel kabylake processor, battery life is also improved compared to previous generation. Dell claims you will get upto 22 hours on single charge on full HD model. If you get the QHD+ model, you will still be able to respectable 13 hours.
Other Dell XPS 13 9360 specifications include full size keyboard with backlit, WiFi 802.11ac Killer 1535 , Bluetooth 4.1, Miracast, two USB 3.0 ports, a Thunderbolt 3 and a microSD card reader. The new Dell XPS 13 (9360) weighs 1.2 kg without touch display, 1.29 kg with touchscreen display.
