Acer has released a new laptop called V7-482P-A54D in Japanese and US market. Specs include Intel Core i5 4200U 1.6GHz processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD + SSD cache, 14.1 inch display, 1366×768 pixel resolution. The screen supports touch input and is glare type.
You can increase the RAM to up to 12GB. Ports selection includes SD card reader, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 × 2, mini D-Sub15 pin, HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n enabled wireless LAN, Web cameras, voice input and output jack.
Since the Core i5 4200U is an ultrabook processor, you can expect excellent battery life from it. It has a 4 cell battery that promises up to 8 hours of continuous runtime. It measures 340 × 240 × 20mm and weighs about 2 kilograms.
Acer has also released AXC602-N12D, a slim tower PC which has a width of 100mm. It is powered by Intel Celeron 1007U processor, a very power frugal processor. AXC602-N12D specs include 500GB HDD, DVD multi drive, 2GB RAM, Intel NM70 express chipset, SD card reader, USB 2.0 × 6, mini D-Sub15 pin, HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.0 + HS, and voice input and output jack. It measures 100 × 367 × 269.5mm and weighs 5.8 kilograms.
