Zotac ZBOX RI531 and RI323 are power mini PC that are quite powerful featuring two slots for hard drives or 2x 2.5 SSDs that are configurable in RAID 0 and RAID 1. While in most cases, you find mini PCs with limited slots, no optical drives and no space for hybrid storage combination, you will find all of those in Zotac ZBOX RI531 and RI323.
Zotac ZBOX RI531 specifications include Intel Core i3-5010U (Haswell) processor with Intel HD Graphics 5500, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11ac , Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI and DisplayPort, four USB 3.0 ports , a card reader SDXC and two DDR3 memory slots -1600 MHz. There is also a slot for mSATA SSD bays and two 2.5-inch hard disk or SSD. As expected, Zotac will be selling a barebones model too that comes with without memory or storage. There will be a beefier model called the Plus with 4 GB of RAM and 64GB mSATA SSD.
Zotac ZBOX RI323 has similar design as Zotac ZBOX RI531 but under the hood packs less power. Its specifications includes Intel Celeron 2961Y (Haswell) and free mSATA slot. The rest of the specs are similar but at the moment it seems that ZBOX RI323 will only be available as barebones and there will no Plus version. Both Mini PC will support Windows 7 and later.
