Zotac Zbox CI327 is a mini PC with the new Intel Apollo lake architecture. Here is a quick look at its specifications, Intel Celeron N3450 chip, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, and VGA. It will be available in three SKUs, one barebone without RAM, ROM and windows OS.
Zotac is famous for its best in-class barebones mini PC and the company has confirmed that Zbox CI327 too will have a barebones model that will come without memory, storage and operating system. However, there will be a new Plus variant which will come with some system memory and storage.
The Mini PC has many ports including HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, and VGA with up to three external display support. There is also a M.2 slot to add solid state memory and a bay for additional 2.5 inch disk which can be an SSD or HDD drive, plus two DDR3L-1866 SODIMM slots for a maximum of 8 GB memory. And in particular: Zotac ZBOX CI327 nano Plus will be equipped 4GB of RAM and 2.5 inch 128GB SSD SATA, while Zotac ZBOX CI327 nano with Windows will be equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB SSD M.2 with bay for 2.5 inch storage. So you will be able to expand the storage in future if need arises.
Regardless of the configuration, each mini PC will be come with a WiFi 802.11ac module with an external antenna, Bluetooth 4.2 , two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0, a USB 3.0 Type-C and two USB 2.0 ports. On board, there are also jacks for microphone and headphones and a microSD card reader.
At the moment, Zotac has yet to release the pricing information, but we are sure it will be very affordable. Since the previous model used to cost around 140 dollars, the new one might cost tiny bit higher but not by huge margin.
