Radxa Rock is a new motherboard with a compact design – perfect for developers and hobbyists looking for an economical yet versatile and complete solution. CubieBoard has prepared two versions – Standard and Lite. The only difference between the two is the amount of RAM and internal storage (2 / 8 GB flash storage; 1 / 4 GB RAM).
In both cases, however, the SoC is the Rockchip RK3188 processor with quad-core ARM Cortex A9 1.6 GHz core and ARM Mali 400 GPU.
Other Radxa Rock specs include HDMI, AV output, digital audio optical, USB ports, OTG technology, 10 / 100 Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro SD card slot.
Choice of operating system include Android or PicUntu Linux, which is based on Ubuntu. Price is USD 99 for standard and 69 for Lite edition.
