HP ProDesk 600 G1 with M.2 SSD

HP has released ProDesk 600 G1 mini desktop, a modern PC with no DVD drive or even a 3.5 inch hard disk. Despite its super compact size, there is room for a powerful quad core Intel Celeron / Pentium / Core i-series processor.

There is a slot for 2.5 inch hard disk slot and surprise, surprise, a M.2 SSD. That makes it more powerful than Intel NUC. There are 2 + 4 USB 3.0 ports, and up to 3 monitors can be connected on the two display and VGA ports.

The 2015 model will have 3 display ports and no VGA ports. There is a LAN port on this model which will still be present in 2015 model. Price of HP ProDesk 600 G1 is EUR 399 and will be made available in April 2014. [via hardware.info]
