BenQ has launched a new full HD projector with 3D support, the W7500. It replaces the W7000 and the chief improvements are there in the contrast ratio, which has fell from 50,000:1 to 60,000:1. This change is due to use of different type of DMD – DarkChip 3 to DarkChip 2. The resolution, however, has not undergone any change and is still Full HD.
BenQ W7500 3D Projector has strong light output, 2000 lumens to be exact and can project on screen with sizes between 28" and 300". Specs of glass lenses are F = 2.48-2.81, f = 24.1-36.1mm, which promise better focus and image quality.
As said earlier, the BenQ W7500 has 3D support. The glasses can convert 2D images into 3D. The operating noise is between 31dB and 35dB. The dimensions are 428 x 145 x 317 mm and it weighs 6.7 kilograms.
It will be released in Q1 2014 with a price tag of EUR 2000.
