Benq has officially announced GP20, a new portable projector. This technology is used in this is DLP, along with LED light source. It is very compact, measuring just 22 x 6:18 x 17.7 cm and weighs mere 1.5 kilograms. Small footprint does not mean a small price tag as Benq is asking for EUR 679.
Power used is 6W. Specs of Benq GP20 include WXGA resolution , 1280 x 800 pixels, with a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and a brightness of 700 lumen. As always, the use of the LEDs ensures a remarkable life – ~ 30,000 hours of use.
The included WiFI dongle lets you connect your laptop wirelessly with it. Other nifty features include the ability to store data as Benq GP20 includes 2GB of integrated flash storage and lets you stream videos up to 1080p.
Ports availability – two USB ports (one Type A and one Type Mini-B) and an SD card slot, all compatible with a wide range of formats (video, music, photos, documents, and presentations). Of course, you can always connect using VGA, composite video or HDMI (with support for MHL). Benq assures that is fully compatible with the 3D signals and is 3D ready.
